Does anyone know of a delivery job that does not need a CDL license and you go home every night?

I guess I am looking for a job like USPS delivery or something but exactly what I want is any job where I work like a normal daytime 8 hour shift (like 6-2 or 7-3...9-5) where my primary job is driving. Does anyone know of a job like that and know how to get into that job?

Most of the major shipping companies will require a CDL in order to deliver. Almost all of their trucks fall under "Interstate Commerce" and have a GVWR of over 28000 pounds, and therefore require at least a class B. Of course there are exceptions.

Try food delivery (wholesale distributers, not pizza guy), furnature delivery, lumber yards, car parts suppliers, maybe tow truck driver?

My wife works as a driver for a hospital- shuttling patients from doctor to nursing home, and back. Takes her all over. Home everynight, on the road by day. Only works 1 weekend every 6 weeks or so, and still home weekend nights.
Reply:Try DHL , www.dhl.com. You do not have to have a cdl only a vaild driver's license and a good decent driving record. or Fedex.com.
