i applied for a delivery job and went to my interview and it went well. all that was left was to verify my driving record. she said they will get the result on monday. does that mean i have the job?and do they make a big deal about tint/lane violations?cause i have one speeding, a tint, and a lane violtaion.

She is waiting to get your DMV report. That will tell her if you have the potential to be a good employee. If your violations were some time ago she may ask about what you have done to improve your driving. Each employer decides what is ok. I wish you well. You don't have the job until she sees what is on the report.
Reply:Well you may have the job all they care about is their delivery car and if you will return it so unless u have Road rage and Grand theft auto on your record you should be fine and also they pay attention to car crashes and stuff
Reply:If they are doing a background check, then they are probably considering you for employment. They would not be going to the bother if they were not thinking about hiring you. As for what they consider to be good and bad, that is dependent on them. Hard to say.
Reply:If you don't have a clean driving record record in the time frame required to get the job, they won't hire you. Your speeding ticket and lane violations are probably too soon for there time frame. So if one of the requirements is to have a clean driving record for the past two or even a year you would no longer be considered for the job. This company can't risk hiring anyone w/moving violations as this is a driving job. So, I'm sorry either they will call you and tell you they can no longer consider you, send you a rejection letter, or you just won't hear from them. I would suggest not trying to get any driving jobs until your record clears up, they won't care what your reasons are, if you have violations on your record, that's all they need.

Good luck in your job search!
