Newspaper Delivery Job?

Ok, well, I had the offer of doing this, and that's pretty cool (((i'm working part-time, auto tech (hobby) and live with my parents...going to go back 2 school for landscaping, finished my auto tech training...so i'm not really looking to make a lot till I start my career (200/wk is fine by me, plus my other job))). SO anywho, anyone who has done this before, can you tell me your experiences with the job? Did you like it, hate it, the good, the bad, what exactly you have to do...? Btw, i'm referring to the newspaper deliveries you make via driving. Thanks a million!
Newspaper Delivery Job?
my father had that job when he first came up to north america, he said that he had to wake up about 3:30am then started delivering around 4:30am and by 6 he was done. so i guess it may be kinda demanding of your time.
Reply:Any job is a good job to get you through school!
Reply:I am currently a newspaper delivery person. I have to say I love the job. The hours are awesome and the pay is incredible. I work from 1 in the morning to 5 in the morning, I make almost 600 per week. For less than 40 hours per week thats pretty good pay.

However, there are downsides to everything. For instance, I work 7 days per week, and put lots of miles on my vehicle. I have not had a day off in almost 2 years, and have had to have my vehicle worked on several times.

Over all I would encourage anyone that has the opportunity to perform this job to go for it. You will have at least 18 to 20 hours of everyday to with as you please.
Reply:well...

1) you have to wake up extra early

2) the pay is not so good

3) you have to adjust to driving and throwing something out the window, and you have to throw them on both sides of the street, unless you want to drive through the same street twice.

let's just say, it's like a mailman on wheels...
